Abstract

DNR decision making have become a widespread part of modern medical practice in terminal patients care. But DNR decisions pose many ethical and legal dilemmas for health professionals.
This paper includes literature review of DNR and compares our country with other country about decision making process.
In Korea, patients¢¥ autonomy has been neglected, there is no systemic decision making principle. For the rationalized and ethical decision making, this paper suggests enhancing ethical education in undergraduate Coiicse, continually researching the situation DNR, setting up social and medical ethics committees.
